Marketing Cloud: The new Marketing Cloud on Core, available in Growth and Advanced editions. This is now considered the true Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE): This used to be called SFMC, and was originally known as ExactTarget. It is no longer referred to as SFMC.
Marketing Cloud Account Engagement: This is the new name for Pardot, Salesforce’s B2B marketing automation tool.
So remember: MCE is not SFMC anymore. When Salesforce refers to SFMC now, they mean the new Core-based Marketing Cloud (Growth/Advanced).
