Celebrating 10 Years of S2 Labs: From Vision to Reality

That is precisely what we wanted to do when we started S2 Labs – change the world while educating it. It has already been 10 years since the journey began, but the motivation behind this institution remains unchanged: helping people launch a career in Salesforce.

We have trained over 60,000 students in the past decade and introduced the world to the highest-quality Salesforce training programs, right from our hometown of Jaipur. What began as a young man’s dream has now become a reality that we live every day through hard work and dedication.

Let’s celebrate this S2 Labs Anniversary by taking a trip down memory lane to explore how it all began and what has happened over the last 10 years!

The Man Behind Salesforce Training

You might know him as the Salesforce Hulk or the Youngest Salesforce MVP (2019), but he was just an engineering student before it all started. Shrey Sharma, the founder of S2 Labs, began his journey as a Salesforce Trainer when he was first intrigued by the technology in college. 

He spent months learning Salesforce and realised that nobody around him knew about this amazing tech, so he stepped up to provide Free Salesforce Training. He was an extraordinary student with above-average intelligence, which led him to become a doubt-clearing faculty member at his alma mater and soon a Salesforce trainer. 

From then on, Shrey started spreading the knowledge he had gained and paved the way for S2 Labs Salesforce Training Institute. It was not an overnight feat; he had to prove himself at every step, in every session, and every year. 

Being young as a trainer was not readily acceptable a decade ago. Gaining trust and recognition was definitely a roadblock for Shrey, but as soon as someone sat in his classroom, their opinion changed. Despite operating from a basement room, the experience in each session was something that no other institute was offering. 

Humble Beginnings of S2 Labs

Yes, the S2 Labs that you know now, or will learn about through this blog, once operated from a basement office space. There was no fancy technology to teach, but a simple whiteboard and metal chairs. Each lecture was delivered live and in person by Shrey himself.

S2 Labs was the first one to introduce Salesforce in Rajasthan, right from the capital city of Jaipur. The lack of demand and awareness about the technology made it quite challenging to enter the training industry, but it was also a lot more exciting. 

Slowly but gradually, the word spread, and each session was filled with up to 80 students for S2 Labs Salesforce Admin Training and Developer Training. Looking at this growth, we had no choice but to open more doors for our students to learn.

The Journey from 100 to 1000 Students

In the age of the internet, you can reach the most remote location. Why not deliver education to every corner then?

Shrey wanted to teach every student with the same energy and devotion, no matter where they lived in the world. To cater to the rising demand for S2 Labs Salesforce Training, he also started live online sessions. 

Now, everybody can learn Salesforce without any barrier. Most people are already aware of this, but Shrey was actively creating videos for his YouTube channel, Salesforce Hulk. These contributions were the reason he was recognized as the Youngest Salesforce MVP of the year 2019.

S2 Labs became synonymous with Salesforce Training in Rajasthan, and soon, Jaipur became the hub of Salesforce talent. This led to many Salesforce-focused institutions and companies establishing a presence in the city. A new beginning in the Indian Salesforce Ecosystem was on its way.

S2 Labs Today and Tomorrow

Considering the growth and recognition, it only made sense to broaden our horizons. So, we decided to move to a new office space, with new trainers who were once students of Shrey and with a newfound motivation. With an improved setup, we also limited the number of students in each batch to just 25. This decision was made to provide a holistic classroom experience for each of our students, focusing on each one with our full attention and care. And our students returned our dedication with success.

To date, S2 Labs has trained over 60,000 students, and each has successfully passed the certification exam. Our students have also cleared some of the most challenging interviews at companies like Google, Deloitte, and others. Our capabilities truly shone when students from non-technical backgrounds secured placements in Tech MNCs.

IT is an evolving space, and so we needed to evolve with it. In 2023, S2 Labs began to push the limits of Salesforce Training and went beyond Administration and development. We have added more courses to our catalogue, including options such as Business Analyst, Quality Assurance, Marketing Cloud, DevOps, etc. We also conducted a successful Summer Internship where we trained selected students under the guidance of our in-house industry experts. Every milestone that we have achieved over the last 10 years is a result of our hard work, values, and the trust of our students.

We always believed in Training over Teaching. Training individuals to launch their careers, analyze the industry, and its technology. We do not teach a concept for its own sake; we educate people on how to apply it in real life, build projects, and achieve a successful career. 

All we wanted was to become a one-stop destination for Salesforce learners, and we are proud to say that we have achieved our goals, all while helping thousands achieve theirs. 

The future only looks bright and happening from here on. We have started including more technologies and in-demand courses for you. We might change as we grow, but our values will remain the same – training with utmost dedication and helping people build a successful career.
